4 Favs...

I bet your kinda wondering why I've been posting like 12 times a day hu?

No? Really?!

Hmmm....Anyway the blog blitz is because I thought it would be fun to post my 400th post on my and Jeremy's 4th Anniversary.

YUP! Four big years together...
I won't bore you all by telling you all how much I love him. Even though I love him pretty big.  I won't tell you ll how cute I thin he is. Even though He's the most handsome, sexiest man on the planet. I won't tell you how much fun we have together. Even though I have laughed more in the last 4 years than I had in the 24 years before I met him combined.

What I WILL do is do a simple list. No pictures. No explanations. Just a list. So here it is:

MY LIST OF THE TOP 4 REASONS I LOVE BEING MARRIED TO JEREMY

1- The was I will catch him just looking at me, and the smile on his face when I do.

2- His love for children.

3- His willingness to help anyone, and everyone.

4- That he chose me, and wanted me to be with him forever.

Leather? Really?

Yeah...Its that time again...Our Anniversary...

Don't get me wrong!! I love Jeremy with all my heart, and I love that I get to be his forever, and I love the life were building together. The whole thing - love it!

But the anniversary gift thing...not much love for it this year. You would think the longer you're with someone the easier it would be to get them something they will love and appreciate. And it is - if I'm picking up a surprise for him while I'm out shopping or picking up dinner...but anniversaries are BIG in our family - they are bigger than Christmas (since we don't give each other gifts for Christmas). So it's a lot of pressure.

Of course I want to be mushy, but I think he would appreciate something techy more...and really - function over form - it makes more sense. But the traditional (not that I'm all that traditional) gift for 3 years is leather. Leather? Really? hmm...lame-o!! And if I get him a new camera...I'll end up using it more than he will and that's pretty lametastic too. Same with something for him to cook with (he does all the cooking)...he cooks for me, so that's like saying "hey handsome - I love you! thank you for the last three years of bliss!! Now, what's for dinner??" I have another word for that whole scenario but since this is a family show I won't say it.

I'm surfing tech sites and geeky blogs and I'm drawing a total blank! Oh did I mention we're saving money right now for some pretty major stuff that's coming up so I can't spend a whole lot? Kill me.

Anniversary Cont.

Just had to share something SO FUNNY!!! Remember how Jer and I gave each other the Picture and book from Reflections?? Well...remember the Chop Sticks He gave me....I couldn't say anything yesterday, but I had totally ordered him Chop Sticks too...HEHEHEHE I got them engraved...Look how funny!!!

The Engraving says "Mr. Hrebicek" and "Happily Ever After" The other set says " Mrs. Hrebicek" and "Happily Ever After" I'm pretty adorable... ;)

Here are the BEAUTIFUL flowers he got me.... I KNOW RIGHT?!!! SO pretty....Since it was our anniversary and because I'm going to WICKED tonight (ESHK!!!)...Jer said I could buy a new out fit. I took that to mean: New shoes, and Wallet
New Earrings - thanks Lis - I totally went back and got them!!! New Dress. The color isn't great here, but it goes from a light blue at the top to a bright sea blue at the bottom... New Nails....my toes match!!! Actually I got a gift card for a mani pedi from my MIL for my birthday and just got to use it...PRETTY hu?! And I got my ring cleaned this week...I love that...it always looks brand new again!!! And New Hair....I'm SO blond!!! Lisa did this too...nice hu?!

I felt so pretty last night...We will blame this picture on the lighting in my bathroom...I actually looked a lot better than this!!

It was such a fun night!! I skipped lunch and got off early, and went to get my nails done. I got home and Jer and I talked for a while and then we both went to get ready. I kept making him shut his eyes so he wouldn't see the dress...hehe. Then he took me to Kabuki for Sushi. Sigh. so yummy!!! We had the nicest waiter too.

Then we went to Best Buy where he bought me one of my all time favorite chick flicks Fools Rush In.

Then he took me to get Cheesecake at the Cheesecake Factory...so yum!!! It was a totally fun and nice night. It's so fun to get all dressed up and go out with someone you love. I'm a pretty lucky girl to have been picked by someone so wonderful. He's so good to me. I do not deserve him!!

Two Years Ago

Two Years ago I was at a salon getting my hair done. I had to take a half a vicodin that I had left over from having my wisdom teeth out in order to sleep the night before. I had 2 of my 4 siblings in town along with both of my parents and 3 of my nieces and nephew and a brother in law. I also had three of my best friends fly in to see me. I had spent the previous day running errands and decorating the cutest cultural hall in Peoria to look like a garden.

Two Years ago I was sealed to the kind of man I didn't know existed. He picked me up a little early and we drove to The Mesa Az Temple. We went to the Visitors Center first. We wanted to sit in front of the Christus, and have some time alone before the day started, and to say prayer together. Then We walked to the Temple. We were able to, again, spend a little time together alone in the most beautiful and sacred place on Earth just before we were lead down the stairs and into a room filled with our closest friends and family.

We were sealed for Eternity 2 years ago today. I have never been happier, and I can't wait to spend Eternity with Him.

I love you Jeremy. More than I could have imagined. Thanks for marrying me!!


These are our pretty anniversary gifts to each other. My Gift is on the right - look how well he did the tissue paper!! His is on the left.

You know how they say "Great Minds Think Alike"?

Jeremy wanted to give me things that represent some of the reasons he's come to love me more over the last two years. (AWE - RIGHT?!!) So my gift included Some hugs and kisses, a Coke oven mitt, Ace of Cakes season 1, Some dang cute Chop sticks, some soft white Hankies, and at the bottom he had the book of Reflections of Christ. So beautiful!!

For Jeremy's gift I gave him a signed and framed framed copy of his favorite photo in Reflections. Great minds... ;)

Here's to this year...

On one of our early dates we were sitting in a Native New Yorker Pizza place and Long December by Counting Crows started playing. As soon as it started both of us said "I love this song". We sang along until it got the the part where it says "maybe this year will be better than the last". Jeremy stopped and toasted us and said "Here's to this year being better than the last". I cried inside, and it's been something we've said many many times since then. Well last year was better than the year before and this year has been better than last.

Jeremy and I have been annoyingly happily married for one year now. I know it doesn't seem like a lot to of time to look back on, but it is. So much has happened this year. It's been a really difficult year, but from this side of the calendar it's amazing how much being with someone you love and adore and can laugh with can make all the hard and painful and scary things that life will bring you easier. So much so that you don't really even see the stress or frustration you felt in those moments, but only the way he got you through them. The ways he made you laugh again. The candles and flowers and tickle fights you shared so you wouldn't have to think anymore. It's amazing how much I love him. And more amazing that he would still love me after this much time with me. But he does!! And it's just so fun!!

I love you Jeremy! Thank you for taking me to the Temple. Thank you for being worthy to go. Thank you for being worthy of the Priesthood and keeping it in our home. Thank you for this last year - it's been the best ever!! I love you, and I am so grateful you wanted me!! I love you!!!

One Year Together, And A Baby On The Way!!

Jeremy's Super wonderful Cousin, Laryssa got married to a fabulous guy named Kyle one year ago today. Since then they have (sadly) moved away to cloudy and dreary Washington (but We're not bitter!) AND they have a baby coming in September!!

Now - I didn't have my digital Camera last year, so I don't have a picture of them on their wedding day, but I do have a couple of pictures of them I'm sure they will just love that I'm sharing with the world. So here's to you guys!! And may this life bring you many more happy memories and blissful years!!! We love you so much!!! And miss too!!! Can't wait to see you in June!!

HAPPY 8 MONTHS TO US!!

Now for those of you who are counting your marriage in years or decades in some cases, 8 months may not be a big deal, but to Jeremy and Me...it's something to celebrate!

I love him so much!!! And I'm so honored that he would want me by his side for eternity!! He is far to good to me, and probably for me, but I'm trying every day to measure up. He's my best friend - the person I go to with all my problems - He's the one I can say anything to - who I can be totally myself with - He makes me smile when all I want to do is cry - He makes me better than I could ever be alone - He's the half of me I was always missing.
