What's with...?

What's with our new neighbors switching our recycling bins yesterday? Theirs had a little crack in the lid...so they just took our off the curb after the pick up. Thanks neighbor!!

What's with weird maternity photos? I love Maternity Photos - most of the time. Sometimes...they are just weird.

What's with tile counter tops? Anywhere really, but especially in a kitchen. How in the world am I supposed to roll cookies on a tile counter top?

What's with people who can't drive? You took a test remember??!!

Whats with the boils I get every other month in the middle of my cycle? Cause a huge, red, painful growth on my chin, chest or back is super sexy!!

What's with eyes getting worse as you grow up? If they are called corrective lenses then why doesn't eye sight get better?

What's with people not knowing that I'm right? Guys I work with - I am two whole years older than you - trust me.

Now that my daily rant is out of the way - Who wants an amazing present?!?! Let me tell you a story. A couple months ago my wonderful friends came to visit family down here from Idaho, and we got to have a little baking day together - I think I told you guys this. We made cupcakes. Raspberry limeade cupcakes. They changed my life just like Kristy told me they would. Wanna see em again?

I had to have this recipe in my arsenal. After a LOOOOONG process I finally have it. Actually I have two. about a week after I got the first copy they sent me a second one. SWEET!! So I'll be giving it to one of you. You will love this magazine - I promise. All you have to do is leave a "What's With...?" comment and you're in. Let them fly ladies!!!

Fa La La La LA!!!!!

There is this Christmas song out in the world that is called the 12 Pains of Christmas. It makes me laugh. I listened to it this morning on my way in to work. It made me smile. there is this one part that is about sending Christmas cards...I've never done it so I can smile. It also reminded me of something I was going to do. Sad that I needed a Christmas Carol Spoof song to remind me that I want to send out Christmas cards hu?!?!

AnYwAy - Remember that time I told you about Shutterfly giving Christmas cards away fro FREE?? I'm finally getting around to blogging about it so I can get mine. YEAH!

I was looking at their WAY CUTE cards last week...I got to thinking...

Man I wish I was cute like THIS card is cute: Little kids in cowboy hats?!! 

Kill me - SO CUTE! And I love the little snowflakes. I firmly believe Snow is only cute in the fake form or when you're inside with a fire place roaring and looking out at the snow.

I love how THIS one looks like Vellum along the bottom. I HEART Vellum. It looks like I was crafty, but it makes it so I don't actually have to BE crafty. Love that.

 

How Perfectly simple and elegant is THIS one?? With a black and White Photo?? Love it! 

I think I'm going with this one. It's so grown up and loverly. Seriously. If only Jeremy and I were that stinking adorable. We have nothing on those two girls!! But we will try.

I really like THIS one too though...Red makes me happy.

Yeah for October! Seriously...happy colors...cooler weather in the rest of the country...The scarves and Pea coats...sigh. Bliss.

Oh Yeah. I'm going to be Elphaba. I'm so excited!!! My friend is going to be Glinda, and I'm going to be Elphaba!! I have a soft spot for witches at Halloween. And I think I'll be going big. My dress won't be this beautiful, but it will be something I'll wear for YEARS...Something my kids might remember and look back on and smile about. I'm SO EXCITED!!!!

Who knew?!

Who knew that looking at the bright side of things and just being happy would help make a person not sad? Okay - I knew. but I've never really been good and tried it until now. This weekend I was expecting to be very sad. I had planned on being a loner loser recluse all weekend so I could wallow in my misery. None of that happened. I was surrounded by great friends and happy experiences all week, and When I did have time to think about things I never felt sad. I am very very blessed.

Turn That Frown Upside Down

It's time to tell you about my GIVEAWAY!! One year ago around the middle of July Jeremy and I had a talk. I had been thinking about kids for a few months and so one day I went to him and asked if we were still sure we should be waiting to have some of our own. We had talked about it when we got married and decided that waiting for a couple years would be a good idea for us. We prayed about it a few times after that and it still felt like it wasn't time for babies to come to our home yet. This time was different. We took about a week and prayed, and fasted, and took our question to the Temple.

We got our answer there. It was a wonderful experience and I was so excited. I had just started a new job and wouldn't have insurance until the beginning of September so we decided that is when we would officially start "not preventing". But...of course I'm not a very patient person, so I asked Jeremy around the middle of August if I could toss the pills out early. After a couple days he relented and out they went.

Since then we have shared a lot of very intense experiences. I won't share them with you, but I will say how grateful I am for a husband who will let me cry and who has never asked why...especially in those times when that is the only question I can seem to form. He has been so faithful through this whole thing. He knows we will be blessed with Children, and he is totally content in waiting patiently until it is the right time and our Heavenly Father send one of his chosen spirits to have us teach and guide him through this life. I'm humbled to have been chosen by someone so strong and faithful. He is going to be an awesome Papa Bear!!

Now for the Giveaway!! I had a few different ideas for this, but the one I settled on is - I think - pretty awesome!! I may even make one for myself one day!!

~CONFESSIONS~
1-I have had really bad gas for like 3 months. I have no idea what is going on or why, but it's constant.

2-I have to open the programs on my computer for work in the exact same order every single morning.

3-Every morning I make a pot of coffee for my office, but sometimes I wait to actually bring it back until after my (annoying!!) co-worker comes in and walks right to where the coffee should be and gets a cup and then realize there's no coffee sitting there. And I laugh at him in my head. THEN I'll bring the coffee back.

4-I love popping Zits. It's a total obsession with me. Sometimes I don't even realize I'm doing it.

5-It's only 830 and I'm going to go have a piece of cake.
